Nature Science Museum Denver is really a place of beauty. It sits right off the mountains and is really a place that everyone should try to visit. There is no other place like it and one of the most noticeable things about Colorado is that natural beauty. It so evident that one of the most popular places to visit in Denver is the Nature & Science Museum. It turned out to be come of my favorite museums and a great place to take the family. Its perfect for all ages. Kids love the interactive exhibits and the life size dioramas of animals in their natural habitats. Another really cool part about the museum is the Phipps IMAX 3D Theater. It’s a one of a kind theater that is a great way to entertain. Admission to the museum is not priced high. It is 13 for adults and 8 for kids and students. Admission to an IMAX movie is separate but can be bundled for a reduced price. There are a selection of exhibits on permanent display like the Discovery zone which is a great place for the young kids. It is made to engage the kinds in hand on fun activities like digging for fossils. Every kid will have fun and there is plenty to do. No museum of natural history would be complete without a Egyptian Mummies exhibit. The museum has two mummies each of which are ages old and are used to teach scientists about life in Egypt.

Where to eat in Denver

Little Man Ice Cream The first time I was asked if I wanted to grab a Lactaid I was confused. I didn’t know what it was and why we were going to the post office to get one. It was in a small town in Oregon and only cost 25 cents. I can’t tell you the last time I bought something for 25 cents. Anyways for those of you who don’t know what a Lactaid is and haven’t goggled yet. A Lactaid is essentially a soda but old fashion and delicious. The next time I found these old style soda’s was in Denver Colorado. It was at an Ice cream shop of all places but just as good as I remembered. The place was named Little Man Ice Cream and has a philosophy of helping out the community and small businesses. That’s all icing on the cake because the really reason to go to Little Man Ice Cream is for the ice cream. All the ice cream is delicious and can be made/ combined with any other flavor or toping you could imagine. There are the regulars like nice rich chocolate or creamy vanilla. If you are feeling more adventurous get a chocolate dipped cone with almonds filled with every flavors you can imagine. The more flavors the better in fact, stack it as high as you can. It is delicious and makes for a great time for friends and family.
