Age Requirements to rent a car from National

The primary vehicle renter must be 21 years of age (higher or lower at some locations).

Additional drivers must meet the same eligibility requirements as the Primary driver

All drivers must possess a valid driver's license and provide it at time of rental.

An additional fee of $25.00 daily may apply in most locations (except in NY where the fee is up to $70.82) for all listed drivers who do not meet the age requirements.

Certain specialty and larger sized vehicles may not be rented to younger drivers.

Some locations maintain maximum age limits.
