Hidden Garden
Art Gallery
The Hidden Garden Art Gallery offers excellent
original art and museum quality Giclee prints, and is the
biggest art gallery of its type in Guanacaste, Costa Rica with
more than fourteen rooms of artworks that include paintings,
diverse artistic expressions and sculptures. The gallery has
more than 3500 square feet of exhibition space that have been
coordinated by styles that range from geometric abstraction to
regular art and underwater images. It also houses the only
permanent display of its resident artist, Carlos Hiller, with
over two rooms showcasing his work. The architectural delight
that houses this marvelous gallery is the finest setting for a
cultural center that strives to strengthen and enhance local
artists' works, as well as sharing the beautiful culture and
landscape of Costa Rica. The gallery has a list of more than
fifty artists whose works are shown here as well as being
offered for sale so that these great artists may continue doing
what they love to do best. It would become a tedious task to
list all their names, since the majority are Spanish related,
and also because their works are between outstanding and
awesome, with many different mediums used to express themselves
and their particular venue, which is sure to please all those
folks that might become interested. They have a website if you
prefer to peruse that instead of traveling to the lush green
land of Costa Rica, but either way, it is art to behold and
enjoy, if only for a few fleeting moments from a web page. And
then there is the resident artist, Carlos Hiller, whose
beautiful underwater works take you to a place that few people
have ever seen nor ever knew existed. To see some of his
wonderful works, and to realize that he had started out in
marine biology, is amazing, but perhaps what better way to
become more acclimated and in love with the ocean and all her
wonders.
