- The Graeco- Roman Museum
The museum was founded in 1892
and has gathered most of its collection by donations from
wealthy Alexandrians. The museum is housed in a beautiful
neo-classical building with a six columned facade, that consists
of 27 halls and a beautiful garden. Inside the museum you will
find over thousands of many different artifacts that consists of
pottery, statues, clothing, coffin's, memorials, plaques and so
much more.

- Abu Mena
The Abu Mena was a small Christian
town that was built over the burial grounds to the martyred Menas of
Alexandria in the late 3rd century. The town consisted of a church,
basilica, houses, baptistery, monasteries, and a few public
buildings. Only small remains of the buildings are left in Abu Mena
but foundations of major buildings like the basilica are easily
recognized. In 1979 the remains were designated as a World Heritage
Site.
- Montazah Palace
The beautiful palace is located overlooking the beautiful
beach on the east side of Alexandria. The Palace was build in 1892
for Abbas Hilmi Pasha as a hunting lodge for his mistress who then
became his wife. Later in 1932 the palace was added on to and became
the summer home of the family. The Palace also has a beautiful
garden that is open to the public and covers about 150 acres with
flowers trees and palms. Although the Palace is not open to the
public because it is now a presidential residence, you can see the
beautiful building from the garden as well as the other two hotels
that are located on the grounds.
