night.

The Gardens sit on over 52 acres of
beautiful land. The Garden was founded in 1863 with the planting of
just one tree and now has the finest collection of exotic and native
plants in New Zealand.

Aquarium & Kiwi House

found around the shores of New Zealand. The Aquarium also houses the
rare kiwi bird that is only found in New Zealand in a nocturnal area
of the house. You can also feed the fish and also touch some of the
creatures in a touch tank to let you feel and explore textures of
the rocky shores.
Christchurch Gondola

above sea level, the Gondola rides 945 meters over Christchurch. The
Gondola ables you to get a 360 view of the Canterbury plains,
Lyttelton Harbour, and also get a great view of Christchurch's
extinct volcano.

The TranzAlpine journeys from
Christchurch to Greymouth. From the train you can see the beautiful
