Golf Course is an 18 hole public golf course that is located in Cranberry, Pennsylvania. It is also known as a Championship par 70 and the track was designed by Bill Love. The course opened in

Hybrid Eclipse 322 Triplex mowers. The golf course offers many specials for each holidays on the rate of golfing for the day and/or week. Cranberry Highlands Golf Course also offers golf lessons

The Asa Packer Mansion
Museum used to be the home to a philanthropist, a railroad magnate, as well as the founder of Lehigh University, his name was Asa Packer. This mansion was originally built in 1861 by Samuel
Sloan who was a Philadelphia architect. It took about two years to build the mansion and it cost about 14,000 dollars. There are a total of 3 stories in the mansion and it was built on a cast
iron frame with a red ribbed tin roof. There are 18 rooms and about 11,000 square feet of living area. Today the mansion is still apart of history due to Mary Packer Cummings who was Asa Packers
daughter. She donated the mansion along with all of the stuff in it to the Borough of Mauch Chunk as a memorial to her father in 1912. The house unfortunately sat untouched until 1956 due to the
borough did not know what to do with it and during that forty four years it was untouched nothing had been taken or vandalized. The Museum is open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays in April and
May only. Daily tours however start on Memorial Day which is May 31. 
The Old Jail Museum is located in the town
of Jim Thorpe who was also known as Mauch Chunk. This museum is a two story stone structure that held prisoners back in the 1800’s. The building was done being built in 1871 and was used at the
Carbon County Prison until January of 1995, it was then purchased by Tom McBride and his wife named Betty Lou. There were 72 rooms total in the jail, 27 cells, a dungeon that was used for
solitary confinement, the wardens living area, and the 2nd floor was for women’s cells. The warden’s apartment had a living area, 2 rooms, a dining room, and a sitting room. The kitchen that was
used for the prisoners is also the same kitchen the warden used. Most of the time the warden’s wife is the one who even cooked for the prisoners as well as her family. Also when visiting the Old
Jail Museum people will hear the tale of the Molly Maguires who were seven different Irish coal miners who were hanged right in the jail. Many of the historians today feel that most of the Molly
Maguires were falsely accused of murder. One of the men named Alexander Campbell left his handprint on the wall of his jail cell claiming his innocence, wardens have tried to get the handprint
off by painting over it and even re-plastering that part of the wall but it is still visible until this day. 
This museum is known to be the largest public
museum in the Northeastern part of Pennsylvania. It is located in Nay Aug Park in Scranton, PA and is simply for the public’s interests. It is a non profit institution that is dedicated to
collecting artifacts along with natural history, science and fine arts. The Everhart Museum is also very unique due to the library that has books regarding information that is of interest from
the collection. The Everhart Museum’s mission statement is “to foster knowledge, exploration, and appreciation of natural history, science, and art with northeast Pennsylvania’s unique heritage.”
The museum’s changing exhibits focus on visual artwork, historic and contemporary art. The museum has also become a very precious and valuable source for educational and cultural opportunities.
The museum was built in 1908 and was built for Dr. Everhart and his plan called the “Three buildings forming three sides of a square, one for natural history, one for science, and one for art.”
in 1928 there were two more wings added and then in 1962 a gallery was added on as well. The museum is very educational and interesting for a family visit.
The Dairen Lake Theme Park is great
for all ages of the family and is in general a great place for fun and laughter. It is two parks in one with thrilling theme park rides as well as water slides in the water park area. The water
park is called Splashtown and is brand new. In the theme park there are kids rides, family rides, water rides, and thrill rides. There are also many events held at the theme park such as special
events, in park concerts, PAC concerts, and a program called Coaster for Caring. In Splashtown there are many rides and attractions including Swirl City Slide Complex, Mister Twister, Canon Ball
Run, Turbo Twins, Flotation Rotation, Lazy Days Lagoon, Hooks Lagoon, Big Kahuna, Tornado, Cuda Falls, and Crocodile Isle. These are rides you will never forget. If your looking for a fun place
