Rockefeller Center
Consisting of 19 commercial buildings that cover approximately 11 acres, this
architectural marvel reaches from 49th to 52nd street stimulating the
mind's imagination. Initially occupied by tenement buildings and
theaters, the multi-millionaire, John Rockefeller, initiated
a revitalization project until the stock market crash of 1929.
Unfortunately, his plans were scrapped but he refused to be subdued by
circumstances and proceeded to break ground and build 20 Rockeller
Plaza. View the Rockefeller Plaza from the Empire State building show it
still towers of it's modern competitors.

Brooklyn Bridge
Connecting both Manhattan and Brooklyn, one of the largest
suspension steel bridge of it's kind in 1883, it stretches from anchorage
to anchorage over 3000 ft. Taking 16 years to build and over 600 workers, many
lives were lost due to the ascension from underwater excavation chambers which
caused "the bends" or caisson disease. Gothic arches supporting either side of
the bridge tower 277 ft high above the water. Offering the most outstanding
views of Manhattan skyline this bridge provokes thousands of
tourists to stroll across the bridge in hopes of indulging
their visual appetites.

Metropolitan Museum of Art
Located immediately off of central park, providing a serene atmosphere with
works from around the world is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Represented by
the Museum are classic and modern works of art which causes the most
sophisticated viewer to be well-seasoned in taste. Some of these
works include: American decorative art, paintings, sculptures, ancient near
east art, Asian art, medieval art, modern art, musical instruments and much
more. Cloisters, the most famous of the displays showcases the medieval
times of chivalry; gallant Knights on horseback, jousting with
lances, sword fights for the hand of the princess, and all the thrills of a
tournament where life and death determine the victor.
