• Ghirardelli Square
  Once home to the finest chocolate in the world, Domingo Ghiradelli founded his chocolate company in 1852. Most of the chocolate brands at the time where licensed by Ghiradelli until finally the company was purchased by Lindt Swiss company.  Today, the old building is home to many local shops that sell chocolate and other goodies. The aroma of chocolate still permeates the air reminding customers of Ghiradelli's roots.
