  Serving more than 700,000 people annually, CMOH has been rated the #1 children's museum in the country.  Dedicated to transforming communities, it has specialized programs for innovative child-centered learning.  Outreach programming for kids between birth and 12 years consists of 14 galleries and hands-on exhibits. Learning about simple machines, creating bubbles, solve wacky mind-teasers, chase dragonflies, or just make animal tracks is what CMOH is all about. • Holocaust Museum
  Detailing the persecution of the Jews, gypsies, and homosexual population in the 1930's is the Holocause Museum of Houston. Though not as comprehensive as other museums, the HM does an adequate job documenting the atrocities committed by Hilter and his henchmen during the war. Featured are many displays of family trees and photos of many of the Holocause survivors and films that recall many of  the survivors experiences. Free docent-led tours a conducted by local Holocaust survivors and their family and a better alternative than viewing the museum alone.
